A big Thank you to our guest speaker, Chad Berger for sharing his experiences
in riding over many years and arranging the Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail!

During the 2017 riding year a challenge was spelled out by the WDO board to give an award to the rider with the most points accumulated.  Points were able to be earned through meeting attendance, dinner rides and photos at special locations. The top 9 in points earned a prize from the WDO
Prize Cache. A total of 52 people participated in the 2017 Chanllenge.

Congratulations to Kari Jonas and Tim Erdmann for winning the 2017 WDO Challenge!!!

Congratulations to the raffle winners and thank you to all who participated

WDO Challenge 2017

Mission Statement:
The WDO Challenge is held to encourage riding your Ducati and participating in the Ducati community.

Challenge Guidelines:

This is a merit-based challenge, with prizes being awarded to the top points earners. Points can be earned by attending WDO meetings, dinner rides, listed social events and scavenger-hunt style special locations. The Challenge Coordinator will keep a running total of each member’s points. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 point tallies.

Four ways to earn points:

WDO Meeting attendance – 11 points possible

Dinner rides after meetings – 5 points possible

Motorcycle social events – 9 points possible

Special locations – 25 points possible

WDO Meetings are generally held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at MotoUnion 3:15pm. Exceptions apply but specific dates, times and locations are in the calendar at www.WisconsinDesmoOwners.com Be sure to legibly write your name in the WDO Ducati book for meeting credit.

Dinner rides after meetings will leave immediately following the monthly meeting from MotoUnion, typically kickstands up at 4pm.  A point is earned for motorcyclists on the ride after the meeting. It is not necessary to participate in dinner, although it is kind of the point. Be sure to legibly write your name in the WDO Ducati book for ride credit.

Final Thoughts:

Thank you for participating in the WDO Challenge! Starting in 2011 as a way for members to gain points by visiting Gelato shops, Rustic Roads, volunteering and attending meetings, the challenge has evolved to change with WDO membership. The 2017 Challenge is geared toward socializing and riding while stopping to smell the roses along the way. Literally roses at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens! Enjoy the roads and history of Wisconsin, this state is rich with both. Please share your experiences on the WDO FaceBook page or with all of WDO shared via the email list. Get out and RIDE your Ducati!
